The SonoMai CYB-S2, SLP, and ST series sensors have obtained CE and RoHS certifications.

2023-04-20

The CYB-S2 pressure series, SLP pin-force series, and ST torque series sensors from Sensor Nobleman Technology Co., Ltd. have all obtained CE and RoHS certifications, marking that these three product lines now comply with European standards and directives, and have successfully secured their entry pass to the European market.

Sensor Nobleman has consistently been committed to contributing to the “domestication” of China’s high-end sensor industry. The company’s independently developed and manufactured high-performance nanofilm sensors boast numerous advantages, including high precision, excellent long-term stability, long service life, a wide operating temperature range, compact size, low power consumption, and robust resistance to harsh environmental conditions. These products have been evaluated by academicians and experts at the Hunan Provincial Productivity Promotion Center as having reached an internationally advanced technological level overall, with certain performance indicators even attaining an internationally leading standard. Furthermore, leveraging the company’s three core technologies, we have currently obtained over 20 domestic and international invention patents, laying a solid foundation for our global expansion and market promotion efforts.

The CE marking is a safety certification mark that serves as a manufacturer’s “passport” for accessing and entering the European market. CE stands for “Conformité Européenne,” meaning European Conformity. Any product bearing the “CE” marking can be sold in all EU member states without having to meet the specific requirements of each individual member state, thereby ensuring the free circulation of goods throughout the EU.

RoHS is a mandatory standard legislated by the European Union in 2003. Its full name is “The Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.”

CYB-S2 Series

The CYB-S2 series of nanofilm pressure sensors feature a wide range of specifications and interfaces, offering multiple process connections, wiring options, and signal outputs. With their excellent versatility, these sensors can be widely used in fields such as construction machinery, aerospace, and industrial process control.

This series of sensors is manufactured based on Sensor Nobleman nanofilm sensing technology and features excellent environmental adaptability and long operational life. Unlike strain-gauge-based sensors, they are free from creep, hysteresis, and aging defects, enabling stable, long-term operation even in high-temperature, high-pressure, and harsh environments.

SLP Pin Force Series

The SLP100-D50 is the first domestically produced pin-joint force sensor developed and manufactured using nanofilm sensing technology, filling a gap in the domestic market for products in this field.

The SLP100-D50 pin-type force sensor does not rely on the traditional strain-gauge bonding process, eliminating issues such as creep, hysteresis, and aging. It boasts advantages including a long service life, high accuracy, and strong overload resistance. It is widely applicable in various construction machinery and lifting equipment fields.

ST Torque Series

The Songnomo Alliance nanofilm torque sensor series employs a novel sensing material with independently owned intellectual property rights, as well as advanced technologies such as vacuum atomic film deposition. The torque-strain thin-film resistors are directly deposited onto elastomers, achieving atomic-level integration between the sensing element and the elastomer. This approach effectively addresses the instability and unreliability issues commonly encountered in conventional torque sensors—issues caused by zero-point drift resulting from force-induced slippage between the sensing element and the elastomer—and truly realizes high-precision, high-reliability torque measurement and control.

The elastomer of this series of torque sensors features an integrated design, a compact structure, low hysteresis, and excellent repeatability. Multiple types of signal outputs are available, meeting the torque measurement and control requirements of most collaborative robots, robotic arms, and automated equipment.

Sensor Nobleman will continue to uphold the development goal of addressing the “bottleneck” challenges in high-performance sensors, and will make positive contributions to China’s national defense and economic development, as well as to bringing China’s high-performance sensor technology into the world’s leading ranks.
