Director Wei and his delegation from the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation visited and exchanged ideas with Sensor Nobleman.

2022-09-09

On the morning of September 8, Director Wei and his delegation from the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation visited and exchanged ideas with SunoMeng. Chairman Liu and Dean Lei of SunoMeng extended a warm welcome to the visitors.

At the symposium and exchange meeting, Dean Lei provided a detailed introduction to SunoMeng’s nanofilm sensing technology. Director Wei expressed keen interest in SunoMeng’s domestically produced high-performance sensors, such as nuclear-grade pressure transmitters and high-temperature, high-pressure pressure sensors, and sought to gain a deeper understanding of them. Dean Lei explained that SunoMeng has already helped China overcome the challenge of domesticating high-performance sensors in multiple fields. The joint R&D effort with CNNC (Shanghai) on nuclear-grade pressure transmitters is expected to achieve another milestone in replacing imported high-performance sensors with domestically produced alternatives. Pressure sensors for high-temperature and high-pressure applications are one of SunoMeng’s technological strengths, thanks to the successful application of nanofilm sensing technology. This technology enables SunoMeng’s sensors to maintain excellent consistency and stability even under harsh operating conditions such as high temperature and high pressure, effectively addressing the aging and temperature drift issues commonly found in adhesive-based and silicon-based sensors. As a result, many of SunoMeng’s sensors can achieve accuracy levels in the range of parts per ten thousand, placing them at the world’s advanced level.

Director Wei stated that high-precision, cutting-edge sensors are in particularly high demand in China’s aerospace and other industries. They are essential components that support the acquisition of critical data for the development of aerospace vehicles and play a vital role in the R&D of aerospace products. Director Wei highly praised Suno-Meng Technology Company’s innovative achievements in nanofilm sensor technology and fully endorsed the company’s commitment to making high-performance sensors domestically produced—a mission that Suno-Meng has steadfastly upheld. He expressed hope that the two sides will collaborate in the future on products such as small-range pressure sensors, long-term high-stability sensors, and non-contact torque measurement sensors, thereby contributing further to the advancement of China’s aerospace endeavors.
