On November 30, 2019, experts including Dean Yu from the Institute of Resource Circulation at Central South University visited Suno-Meng Technology Co., Ltd. The company’s leadership attached great importance to the visit and welcomed the delegation, with Chairman Liu Yongnian, General Manager Lei Weiwu, and relevant company personnel serving as hosts and engaging in a fruitful discussion and exchange.
First, General Manager Lei Weiwu introduced to Dean Yu the company’s prospects for developing high-end sensors and the market demand. He also highlighted our company’s sensor performance characteristics and technological advantages. After listening to the presentation, Dean Yu and the experts engaged in an extensive and in-depth exchange. Dean Yu remarked that Suno-Meng Company’s sensor products possess fully independent intellectual property rights and demonstrate strong innovation in areas such as sensor-sensitive materials and manufacturing processes. Moreover, these sensors excel in critical performance indicators—including precision, sensitivity, and temperature drift—and this superiority has been thoroughly validated by inspection and testing reports from the First Metrology and Testing Research Center of the National Defense Science and Technology Industry. As a result, Suno-Meng’s sensor products hold great potential for application in China’s weapons systems and major national infrastructure projects.
Dean Yu then went on to say: “As representatives of Central South University, we’ve come here today and, through our exchanges with your company, gained a deeper understanding of the product’s characteristics and its market application prospects—especially regarding several key indicators and parameters of the product. These advancements are largely due to breakthroughs in materials and manufacturing processes. In terms of materials, Central South University is a leader in China. Building on this strong foundation and leveraging the complementary strengths of both the university and your company, we should pursue deepened collaboration and swiftly launch initiatives in the following areas:”
1. We can jointly establish the National Engineering Research Center for New Materials and Intelligent Sensors.
2. It is possible to establish the Sensor Nobleman Doctoral Workstation at Central South University;
3. We can collaborate with enterprises to host the International Summit Forum on New Materials and Intelligent Sensors.
At the same time, we stated: After returning to campus, we will report to the school leadership and actively advance the progress of the aforementioned work. We will provide strong support to Sensor Nobleman enterprises in areas such as staffing of research personnel, implementation of research projects, and securing research funding.
Next, the company’s chairman introduced to Dean Yu and other experts the company’s strategic positioning and development goals. Dean Yu and the other experts expressed high appreciation for the company’s strategic positioning and operational model.
Chairman Liu Yongnian summarized that, building on the cooperation with Central South University, the company should steadily advance and implement tasks one by one. It should leverage Central South University’s faculty resources to engage in deepened collaboration in areas such as tackling key scientific research projects and jointly cultivating talent. The company should also adopt advanced scientific research management models and strengthen professional training for its staff, enabling rapid growth and development. In this way, China’s high-end sensors can make positive contributions to national defense, military industries, and major national construction projects. The Chairman further pointed out that, in the near term, the company should diligently carry out all necessary tasks, promptly establish its sensor industrialization project as a key project in Hunan Province, and gradually elevate it to a flagship industrialization initiative. At the same time, the company should prepare thoroughly for hosting the International Summit Forum on New Materials and Intelligent Sensors.
