Sensor Nobleman empowers China’s “hardcore core.”

2020-09-11

Sensor Nobleman® Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research, development, production, and sales of high-performance nanofilm pressure sensor cores, nanofilm pressure sensors, transmitters, and precision instruments and meters—all based on independently owned intellectual property rights.
The company has introduced world-leading production and testing equipment and adopted internationally advanced manufacturing technologies and processes. Thanks to the concerted efforts of all employees, the nano-thin-film pressure sensor core and high-performance pressure sensors have now been developed. According to tests conducted by the First Metrology and Testing Research Center of the National Defense Science and Technology Industry, the overall performance of these products has reached world-class standards. In particular, certain key indicators—such as thermal zero-point drift (which, without any compensation, does not exceed 0.001% FS/℃)—have attained world-leading levels among similar products. The nano-thin-film pressure sensor core and nano-thin-film pressure sensor products are illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, respectively. Meanwhile, Songnongmeng Company has leveraged the high-performance nano-thin-film pressure sensor core to develop a Y-type thin-film pressure transmitter whose overall performance also reaches world-class standards; the product is shown in Figure 3.

The core (sensing element) of the nanofilm pressure sensor is fabricated using ultra-high-vacuum atomic thin-film technology. Insulating materials, sensitive strain-resistance materials, pad-layer materials, and protective-layer materials are deposited onto an elastic stainless steel diaphragm in atomic form, forming atomically fused nanofilms—including an insulating film, a resistive sensing-material film, a pad layer, and a protective layer. Subsequently, through precision photolithography and resistance adjustment processes, a robust and stable Wheatstone bridge circuit is created on the elastic stainless steel diaphragm. When the medium under test exerts pressure on the elastic stainless steel diaphragm, the Wheatstone bridge on its surface generates an electrical signal that is proportional to the applied pressure.
The above-mentioned atomic thin-film deposition process provides a strong guarantee for the excellent performance of the nanometer-thin-film pressure sensor core.
In addition, we employ a special-component metal alloy sensing material that can operate stably for extended periods at high temperatures of 400℃, with a TCR no greater than 2 ppm/℃. This further ensures the outstanding performance of the nano-thin-film pressure sensor core and represents one of Sensor Nobleman Company’s core patented technologies.
The main features and technical parameters of the nano-thin-film pressure sensor core are as follows:
  Product Features
This new sensitive material patent technology is manufactured using internationally advanced nanofilm fabrication and micro-machining techniques.
Free from the creep, hysteresis, and aging defects introduced by conventional metal foil strain gauge bonding techniques, it exhibits excellent long-term stability and reliable performance.
It features excellent temperature characteristics, addressing the issues of large temperature errors and a narrow operating temperature range caused by the absence of PN junctions.
High-quality stainless steel elastic diaphragm material with excellent media compatibility and strong corrosion resistance. No isolation diaphragm required—no need to fill with oil or liquid.
High stability: After 10 million pressure cycles, the drift of the pressure sensor is less than 0.1% FS per year.
  Technical Parameters
  Measurement range: (0~0.5~10~35~70~100~250) MPa.
  Operating temperature: (-196~+85)℃, (-40~+125)℃, (-40~+150)℃, (-40~+300)℃.
  Stability: ≤ ±0.1%FS (12 months).
Overall accuracy: ±0.075%FS, ±0.1%FS, ±0.2%FS, ±0.3%FS (including nonlinearity, repeatability, and hysteresis errors).
  Zero-point temperature drift: ≤ ±0.002% FS/℃.
The nanofilm pressure sensor core is the key component of high-performance pressure sensors and transmitters. It boasts numerous advantages, including high accuracy, excellent long-term stability, a wide operating temperature range, small size, low power consumption, and robustness in harsh environments. This makes it an ideal pressure measurement and control solution for various fields in China, such as weapons systems, metallurgy, petrochemicals, nuclear industry, power generation, transportation, rubber processing, and the Internet of Things. Fully domestically produced, it can serve as a direct replacement for imported products.
The core of the nanofilm pressure sensor boasts completely independent intellectual property rights. Its development has injected vitality and added strength to China’s “hardcore core,” and will undoubtedly make a positive contribution to the informatization and intelligentization of infrastructure in China’s new infrastructure sector, as well as to the advancement of China’s sensor technology.
